1978 Norman Rockwell 9" Bell by Gorham Fine China, Features Love's Harmony, "Gaily Sharing Vintage Times"

This bell from Gorham Fine China, made in the USA, stands 9" high and 3 3/4" wide. The handle is turned wood with a walnut finish;  the body of the bell is porcelain in an off-white or light cream color, and has a Norman Rockwell print on each side - "Gaily Sharing Vintage Times." It features an older woman and older man in Victorian era clothing, sitting in front of a fireplace, each with a cup of tea.

The body of the bell has some shaping to it, and the bottom edge is rimmed in gold. The clapper hangs on a chain, and both are metal, perhaps brass. The inside of the bell has the Gorham label and crest, followed by "Love's Harmony - 1978 - 'Gaily Sharing Vintage Times.'"

This piece would make an amazing gift for the holidays or addition to a bell-collector's collection.

Condition: This bell is in excellent vintage condition. I find no chips, cracks, or blemishes of any kind. There is no rust on the clapper and chain. It makes a pleasant sound when rung.

Care: wipe with a damp cloth.
