Silver plated butter dish by Gorham, piece number YC1307. Pattern is Chantilly and is discontinued. This piece does not include the glass liner. The lid has a dark speck on the top near the handle that may be something that has adhered, as it does not look like rust. The tray has a scratch in one corner (see photos). It has in the past been cleaned with something that left a brushed rather than shiny finish. Price reflects the condition.
