2 1/2" decorative Christmas tree ornament that opens, making it a trinket box. The outside is embossed with designs, some of which are painted with gilt. The box has a metal band to provide the hinge between the two halves. The halves appear to be porcelain.
Condition: The hinges appear to be tight, but these do not stay closed when hanging. It is unclear whether they are intended to stay closed.
