This choker is a double strand of faux pearls. The shorter strand is made of graduated white pearls with a lovely shine, and the longer strand of graduated creamy beige pearls in a matte finish. The two strands are connected with a lovely gently curved and embossed metal piece. One side attaches to a hook, and the other to a shorter section of smaller pearls that allow for some adjustment for this piece.
This necklace would look stunning over a vintage dress or nestled in your neckline. If you love vintage art nouveau style or MCM, this necklace is for you.
Since the two strands are different lengths, I measured with the necklace fastened at the longest point. It measures 8.5" at the longest point, fastened, or 17" end to end. The hook closure is stamped "Japan."
Condition: excellent.
Care: wipe with a damp cloth and allow to dry completely.
